I’m happy to share I’m now offering a Preorder & Pickup option for upcoming art markets, pop-ups and local events. This is a new offering designed to make shopping with me a little easier and more flexible – especially if there’s something specific you’ve been hoping to pick up, or if browsing at busy events doesn’t always work best for you.

Below, I’ve answered a few questions about how it works, who it may be helpful for, and how to place an order if it feels like a good fit for you.

What is Preorder & Pickup?

Preorder & Pickup allows you to place an order from my shop ahead of an upcoming event and pick it up directly from my booth when you arrive. Once your order is placed, I’ll confirm everything with you, prepare it in advance, and have it packed and ready for pickup at the event you selected. It’s simply an alternative way to shop. Allowing you to reserve specific pieces ahead of time while still supporting local events and shopping small in person.

Why are you offering Preorder & Pickup?

You can absolutely still shop my booth normally at events.

Preorder & Pickup is simply an additional option for those looking for a little more flexibility or convenience. Maybe you already know exactly what you want, are short on time, prefer a quieter shopping experience, or want to make sure a particular item is set aside for you ahead of the event.

This wasn’t a specific request, but something thoughtful I wanted to offer.

I know weekends can fill up quickly, plans can shift unexpectedly, and busy events aren’t always the easiest experience for everyone. I wanted to create something that felt a little simpler and more accommodating while still keeping the experience personal and connected to local markets.

Since my pieces are made in small quantities, this also gives you the chance to reserve favorites ahead of time rather than hoping they’ll still be available later in the day.

Who might Preorder & Pickup be helpful for?

If you enjoy browsing slowly, chatting at the booth, and taking in the full market experience, you’ll probably still prefer shopping in person the usual way. Preorder & Pickup is simply an alternative for shoppers who may want something a little different.

It may be especially helpful for:

  • Those who already know what they want. If you’ve been following along online or have something specific in mind, this lets you reserve it ahead of time and pick it up without needing to shop the booth fully during the event.
  •  Quiet shoppers. Markets can sometimes feel busy or overstimulating. This option allows for a simpler pickup experience while still supporting local makers and events.
  • Those short on time. Maybe you’re visiting several markets in one day, running errands between stops, or only able to attend briefly. Your order will already be prepared and waiting for you.
  • Friends or family picking up on your behalf. If someone else is attending the event and you can’t make it yourself, they’re welcome to pick up your order for you.
  • Local shoppers who prefer pickup over shipping. If you live nearby and would rather skip shipping altogether, this can be an easy alternative.

Are there any perks to Preorder & Pickup?

Yes, a few ones:

  • Your order is prepared ahead of time and thoughtfully packed before the event
  • You can reserve pieces before they potentially sell out during the market
  • Pickup is free at the event
    You can move through the market a little more quickly if needed
  • You’ll still have access to any special in-person event pricing available at my booth

What if something comes up and I can’t pickup my order?

No worries at all – things happen. Just send me a note at [email protected] and we can figure out another option together. If needed, I can arrange shipping afterward for an additional shipping fee based on package size and delivery location.

How do I place a Preorder & Pickup request?

At the moment, orders can be placed through a simple request form. I’ve tried to keep the process as straightforward and flexible as possible, though it may continue evolving over time.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Submit the preorder form with the items you’d like to reserve
  2. Receive a confirmation email and invoice from me
  3. Approve and pay your invoice
  4. Pick up your order at the event anytime before closing
