Color Swatches (with Photos) of the Derwent ColourSoft Pencils – 72 Count

I have another color swatch to share! And this is a treat because it’s the 72-Count Derwent ColourSoft Pencils set which I’ve been so excited to dig into. I love this line and up until this point only had the 12-count set which is fantastic.

Before I start wearing these down, I’m snapping a pic, dropping the names, and sharing a swatch of each pencil to help give you a sense of all the colors in case you’re interested in picking these up for yourself.

I’m also testing all of these colors on this studio watercolor paper by Fabriano, which is a smooth, soft matte hot press stock. I love the finish and have used this for both painting and coloring.

I tested all colors in random order on one page above. Below, I separated them roughly into three groups based on warm, cool and neutral tones with captions. You can view the full list of all colors at the very bottom.
