Behind Tilly’s Tomatoes
Tilly’s Tomatoes is a playful nod to my childhood memories and a vibrant expression of how tomatoes have quietly shown rooted themselves into my illustration work since reclaiming art. This piece symbolizes many things for me personally. It blends nostalgia with my love for food and gardening, while also serving as an important reminder that life still holds many surprises and the lesson that old memories can become the seeds that plant new ones for tomorrow. I created this piece with a sense of wonder that sometimes something as a small and ordinary, like a tomato, can one day turn into something more magical.
