About

I’m Sierra Lee, a full-time, independent artist and small business owner working in illustration. I love using illustration to bring beauty to everyday home, living and celebrations.

About me

I’m an artist, illustrator, designer, and small business owner based in Maryland. I founded my studio in 2024 and specialize in bespoke illustration and thoughtful design. My background is in fine art and graphic design and my approach to illustration is a bridge between the two. It’s where I get to blend my passion for color, composition, and storytelling to create something beautiful for everyday moments and spaces.

I’m grateful to have my work featured and spotted with Minted, Greenvelope, Samsung Art Store, Paper Culture, Spoonflower, and Lifelines (available at Target and Amazon).

My studio and print shop

I work out of an upstairs studio in my home, where I also run my print shop packaging and shipping orders. I work at a refurbished desk near a window that overlooks pine trees in our yard. I love working near lots of natural light, illustrating, painting, writing, and planning my next project.

Style and inspiration

My style is simple, playful, warm, and human. I’m inspired by color, texture, music, timeless elements, and how they work together to create a mood. Underlying themes in my work are home and living, travel, and everyday celebrations. I’m deeply moved by work that feels personal or rooted in origin. And most days, it’s the everyday rhythms and changing seasons that spark new ideas, concepts, or entire collections. I’m drawn to creating work rooted in print or with a hands-on nature—usually on paper, walls, fabric or pages within a book.
